We had a wonderful staycation weekend. The staffs are attentive & friendly. A spacious amazing room with stunning views , especially the spa-inspired bathroom is absolutely beautiful. My 11-years old daughter really enjoyed movie time at the room with a big bowl of popcorn. Highly recommended during this time when you want to go to places where you feel safe and as cozy and relax as your second home. We are very happy to spend a night here and will definitely be back !

My 12 years old son and I stayed at The Upper House as staycation for 8 nights in late March. Everything there is soothing and feel good – no noisy lobby or stuffy reception – just the entrance with very friendly staff on the ground floor serves as concierge and reception. They are helpful and professional. The rooms is fantastic. The studio we stayed was super spacious with a huge comfortable bed with excellent bedding and pillows, L-shaped sofa, a desk, walk-in closet combined study and dressing room and a huge bathroom. We both liked nice Bamford amenity very much. My son particularly loved free snacks and drinks, also WiFi connection. Food - Café Gray Deluxe, the only restaurant within the hotel offers exceptional modern European dishes and Asian dishes with seasonal and organic focused ingredients. Everything is excellent - sophisticated decor, good distance between the tables and panoramic cityscape views. The service is attentive too. We dined a few times at the restaurant and ordered room service almost every day during our stay. It would be perfect if there are one or two more additional items in children’s menu for longer stay. It was lovely, we enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you especially for Sharon and her team for excellent communication and service. Thank you also finding my son’s AirPods. :-)

We stayed at the Upper House for my friend's birthday celebration. It was a wonderful experience, especially for the upgraded room and the complimentary birthday amenities. A very helpful staff, ms Kay Cheung, guided us to the room and room us for both the hotel facilities and room amenities. The home-like design of the room and personalized service offered at this hotel definitely worth a try if you are planning to go for a staycation.

We stayed at Upper House to spend a wedding anniversary and also to bring our kids outside the house after several weeks of staying in. We loved our stay there. The package which the hotel offered was perfect for us, we checked in at 9PM after coming from work, and then spent the following day just lounging around until we checked out after dinner. The suite we stayed in was perfect for us, it was really spacious for our kids and the bathroom was more like a spa. The kids enjoyed the bath tub and TV most specially. The staff were also so accommodating and warm. The service was quite personal as almost everyone knew who were and asked how our stay was going. This isn't usually the case with HK hotels. There was a small hiccup with the room but they went overboard in trying to compensate for it which we really appreciated. We would definitely come back!

We attended a wedding at the Upper House and stayed for one night at the Upper Suite. First and foremost, the room itself is stunning. The view of the harbor as well as the design gives you a very modern yet cozy vibe. The suite is very spacious, not to mention the famous bathtub view, which is definitely a must and a good tick off the bucket list. I think one good thing about staying at a "boutique" hotel is the staffs really try to give you a personalized experienced. During check-in, Upper House staffs took the time to walk us through the room, made sure we were comfortable, had what we wanted and provided every service that we needed. With regards to wedding banquet, I would say it was probably the best wedding dinners I have ever had. If you are looking for a modern dining experience (in wedding terms), Upper House really exceeded expectations. I could tell the chef and staffs paid a lot of effort in designing the menu specifically for the event. During the wedding, the service was on point, all of the staffs were paying attention to every single detail. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for a comfortable stay, or even hosting an event. If you need to splurge the budget on chain hotels that are going to give you a formulaic experience that is same as everybody else, might as well spend the budget in a place where you can truly create memories.
